2010 Lake Tahoe Tour June 19 - June 22

Looks like the dates are fine with the regular PTUPers so I already made the reservations for the campsites.

We still need to make reservations for a hotel in South Lake Tahoe for Sunday night, but I checked a few places and they were wide open that night.

I like this route and dates because someone can do a two-day loop around Lake Tahoe over the weekend in case they don't want to do the entire thing. Same as always, the more the merrier, so forward this to whomever.

Sat 6/19 - South Lake Tahoe to Tahoe SRA Campground in Tahoe City. It's 32 miles to it clockwise around the lake, and 38 the other way. I was thinking the short day should be the first day, but I don't know the terrain.

Sun 6/20 - Tahoe SRA to South Lake Tahoe for the hotel night.

Mon 6/21 - South Lake Tahoe to Grover Hot Springs State Park in Markleeville. There are a couple of ways to do this, so I was thinking we do one way on the way up and one on the way back. Either way is less than 40 miles.

Tues 6/22 - Grover Hot Springs back to South Lake Tahoe.
