This is the home page of the Pedal 'Til U Puke bicycle ride that happens every year in and around the San Francisco/San Jose area.

The first PTUP ride was in 1995 with only three riders. By 2011 that number has swelled to fourteen! We've had a PTUP ride as far north as the town of Mendocino (2000, I think), and as far south as the Santa Barbara area (2006). But during odd years (e.g. 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011), it's the "Old Same Ride": San Jose to Capitola, Capitola to Monterey, Monterey back to Capitola, and back over the hill to San Jose to finish. I personally like that one a lot because I get to ride straight from home and just leave the car at home. Because you know our motto is "Leave the car at home" unless it's a support vehicle which we use on occasion, and that's usually a van.

Anyone can join in a PTUP ride. We've never had a bad apple. You don't even have to drink! So contact me (email: marlon_jackson@yahoo.com) to get on the PTUP mailing list. Because you know our motto is "The more, the merrier", whether that be people or good beer and wine.

The old PTUP page was hosted at my house and was really nothing more than a description of past rides along with some pictures. I'm hoping that a Wiki format will encourage customization of the site by any and all PTUPers. Because you know our motto is "That old PTUP page was kinda lame", so let's make this page a good one!
